None of our products are certified gluten free, as we have not performed laboratory analysis to confirm the level of gluten protein in our finished goods. However, many of our Roo products are free from gluten-containing ingredients and are handled on lines that do not process gluten-containing ingredients. If you need more information about a specific product, please contact us at support@roofresh.co for more information.
The facility that makes our products also makes products that contain peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. Good allergen handling practices such as dedicated production lines are in place at the facility to minimize the chance of allergen cross contamination. If you need more information about how a specific product is handled, please contact us at support@roofresh.co for more information.
The use-by dates on our products indicate the date through which we can guarantee the safety and best quality of the item. We cannot give guidance regarding the safety or palatability of products that are past their use-by date.
Our salsa, pico de gallo, and guacamole recipes are well established and do not generally change. However, because our products are freshly made with
seasonally available produce, we do occasionally experience varying levels of heat/spice in some of our products. This is due to varying levels of heat in fresh Chile peppers, which is affected by many factors including grower location, time elapsed since the peppers were harvested, and seasonal weather.
